Sherwood House: If you are looking for a home with lots of space for your large family or group, you will love the Sherwood House! Welcome to the first floor of this three story home. When you first enter you will see the spacious sitting room with it's own wood burning fireplace and full bath. One Bedroom with a set of bunk beds and one twin. As you ascend to the Main Level, you will be greeted with a spacious living room and wood burning fireplace which opens to an attached dining room leading into the Kitchen. The Modest kitchen has a built in oven and microwave, electric stove with limited counter space and plenty of cookware. The Dining area contains built in cabinets with additional counter space and a table that seats 8 comfortably. This floor also contains a full bath and a bedroom with a queen bed. As you go through the queen bedroom you have access to another bedroom with a twin bed. The top floor contains a LARGE bedroom with a queen bed and 1 set of bunks. Enjoy access to the balconies and see some spectacular mountain views. Sherwood House is about a 10 minute drive to the Pico Mountain and 15 to Killington Mountain. (Weather depending) It is also a short drive to The Mountain Top Inn for Winter and Summer Activities, such as horse back riding, horse sleigh rides and hiking. Enjoy a short drive to the Chittenden Dam. Close to Rutland for all your shopping needs. During winter season we recommend 4 wheel drive vehicles.
