Kick off your shoes in your newly renovated, tropical 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom cottage situated toward the west end of Sanibel Island on a canal with direct access to Dinken’s Bayou, Pine Island Sound and the Gulf of Mexico!
“Kingfisher Cottage” boasts a bold and artsy personality that brings fun and life to the home. On the main entry level you’ll be greeted with an open floor plan living and dining area with direct access to a large, shady screened lanai great for entertaining or for curling up with a good book. The full kitchen with laundry facilities are on the opposite end of the main floor which provides access to a deck overlooking the canal, truly a great place to sun and watch your backyard wildlife. Upstairs the spacious master bedroom includes a lofty ceiling, king-sized bed, home office desk area, walk-in closet, and a private tree-top deck making it the perfect place to sip your coffee or do yoga while watching the sunrise. The mid-sized guest bedroom overlooks the canal and is fitted with a queen-sized bed and private bathroom. The high-ceilinged smaller bedroom also faces the canal and has two twin beds to easily sleep your family of six.
This one of a kind beach cottage located at the west end of the island features a dock and boat launch that provides the perfect springboard for your small craft exploration into Dinken's Bayou. Enjoy a short 12 minute stroll to the shell strewn beaches at Blind Pass that include the best sunset-watching on the island and is a favored fishing spot. Conveniently there are a few restaurants, a village store, and a marina are all within easy walking distance as well.
Home Amenities include: 3 bedrooms/3 bathrooms – 1 king bed, 1 queen bed & 2 twin beds (sleeps 6), 2 flat screen TVs, free wi-fi & cable, multiple outdoor spaces including an enclosed landscaped yard with firepit, screened porch, open deck overlooking canal & a rooftop sundeck, dock access, washer/dryer, BBQ gas grille. No pets allowed. Bed linens and bath towels included. Beach chairs, beach towels, and an umbrella are provided for added convenience.
