Getting there

To reach Sunset Cove from Bemidji, take Highway 2 east to Cass County Road 149. Go north on 149 about 2 miles and turn left at the Sunset Cove Resort sign. If you are coming from Cass Lake,take Highway 2 off 371. Go 3/4 mile from the Highway 2 and 371 intersection. Turn right (north) onto Cass County Road 149. Go 2 miles and turn left at the Sunset Cove Resort sign.

Fun facts

Cass Lake is 15,996 acres with a maximum depth of 120 feet. Often, Northern Pike of more that 20 pounds are caught and released week after week. The lake also contains musky, walleye, largemouth bass, bluegill, perch, and crappie.
