Founded in 1926 by Tom Neal and his wife Vida Thrift Neal, Neal's Lodges was built for families by families. In fact, Tom built many of the cabins and furniture while Vida served as the chef and shopkeeper. Today, the same family values serve as the pillars of the resort!

Overnight accommodations a Neal's Lodges consists of 67 cabins, 15 tent camping sites and nine RV hook-ups near the river, plus seven lodges near the Club at Concan Golf Course and 11 condos overlooking the Frio Canyon. With such a versatile list of options, Neal's is a true Hill Country oasis with crystal clear streams, rugged hillsides, abundant wildlife, and activities for the whole family. All of Neal's cabins have air conditioning, television, and fully-equipped kitchens.
