If you'd prefer to stay dry, swing on by Canyon Lake Golf Club and enjoy a day on the fairway. Fishing-enthusiasts of all ages will discover a great Texas excursion at the Canyon Lakeview Resort. The Guadalupe River Park, with a trail about two miles long along its banks, offers plenty of space to fish off the banks for the stocked rainbow trout, with downstream being the preferred fishing hole of fly fishermen.

Canyon Lake offers six public parks. Hiking trails within are open year-round and showcase stunning scenery. Horseback riding along Old Hancock Trail, bicycling the trail in Canyon Park, or walking across Canyon Dam allow you to enjoy the lake up close.
