Exterior view of Westin Hermitage Hotel.

Opened in 1910, The Westin Hermitage is the only example of a commercial Beaux Arts structure in Tennessee. Grecian and Tennessean marble accentuate the lobby with is beautiful skylight, designed by the Italian artisan Hotojy. The Hotel has hosted many political figures, including President and Mrs. Franklin D. Roosevelt, President and Mrs. Richard M. Nixon, President John F. Kennedy, and President and Mrs. Lyndon B. Johnson. A recent $4-million renovation has restored The Westin Hermitage to its original splendor.
