Nature
Fishing
A great way to enjoy Cook Forest is to hike some of its 30 miles of trails! Trails scatter the area, ranging from .5 miles to 3 miles in length. These trails are just a short distance away from Whispering Oaks!
The Cook Forest Area is full of great fishing holes. The Clarion River flows beside Cook Forest; this river is home to trout, bass, gamefish, and panfish. This river has kayak/canoe rentals to better help your fishing adventure. There are stocked ponds nearby for children also. Tom's Run is also a nearby favorite; they stock approximately 2.5 miles of this creek with trout every year.
