Nestled among the trees is a seven acre private resort hidden on one of the great deep water coves on the beautiful Grand Lake. Candlewyck offers access to over 450 ft of majestic waterfront and 2 new boat docks allow guests to bring their own boat or personal watercraft. A large swimming pool with hot tub is available to all guests. Daily pontoon, jet ski, and ski boat rental are available on site through H2O Sports Rental. After enjoying Candlewyck’s free continental breakfast, take a leisurely walk thru the property stopping to watch the water cascade down our waterfall into the lake. You will be refreshed and revitalized for a new day!

The Candlewyck property is uniquely setup to host small outdoor weddings, either on the lakeside or in the gazebo surrounded by the white picket fence. A reception hall with a waterfall provides for an indoor reception after the wedding.
Largemouth bass, black bass, black and white crappie, white (sand) bass and catfish are all found in Grand Lake. Hybrid striped bass, flathead catfish, blue catfish, Mississippi white catfish, sunfish and paddlefish (spoonbill) are other species available. So get a guide and land a catch of a lifetime.
