The WhiteGate Inn is located on the tree-lined National Historic Chestnut Street District in Asheville. The Inn is an 1889 Shingle-style House surrounded by beautiful grounds, overlooking downtown Asheville and the Blue Ridge Mountains. In 1997, the Inn received the Griffin Award for Restoration from the Preservation Society of Asheville.
