Watershed Cabins was founded in 1998 with a firm focus on showcasing the majesty of the Smokys. If you can stay in style while you experience them, why wouldn't you? All rentals are located just outside the park, centered near Bryson City with Robbinsville to the west and Cherokee to the east. From your cabin you're always just minutes from hiking or seeing the waterfalls at Deep Creek, motoring along the Tail of the Dragon at Deals Gap, trout fishing or fly fishing just out your front door, riding the train on the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad or seeing the history of the original owners of these mountains, the Cherokee Indians. Whew! We're exhausted just listing all that. After a long day of memories, make one more and catch the sunset at lookout point- we guarantee it's something you'll never forget.
Onsite your family will love the central community area, complete with bocce ball, firepit, yard games and a log-zebo with a bedswing. All cabins on the property are within walking distance of one another, so feel free to bring the extended family!
Besides the obvious majesty of the towering Smokys, Smoky Mountain Cabins also has plenty of natural beauty onsite. There's a well-maintained hiking trail running throughout the property which winds all the way to the beautiful on-site waterfall- perfect for a moonlit stroll with your sweetheart!
You and your significant other will adore the popular Treehouse units, which are one-bedroom accommodations. There's also one-bedroom Woodland Lofts and their industrial-modern styling, if you're seeking some urban influence as opposed to traditional log home styling. They make for something to look forward to coming back to while you're out and about in the Smokys!
In addition to the Resort's obvious grandeur, Watershed Cabins also features off-site cabins ranging from custom, hand-crafted, luxury log homes to “value” cabins. There’s a unit for everyone’s budget, and they all have a hot tub, comfortable furnishings, and the same level of cleanliness and quality.
