Since 1869, six generations of Scotts have operated Scott's Oquaga Lake House up on the mountain out of Deposit on the picturesque Oquaga Lake. The present facility encompasses nearly 1,100 lush acres, which include two scenic nine-hole golf courses, tennis courts (outdoors and indoors), a softball diamond, bocce and shuffleboard courts, a Swedish exercise course, and much more. If you ever decide to leave the grounds, there's excellent fishing in Oquaga Lake, numerous hiking trails, and shopping downtown.
