The Elms Resort & Spa is situated on 16 acres of gently rolling hills above the Fishing River in Excelsior Springs, Missouri just 30 minutes from Kansas City. The present Elms was rebuilt of native Missouri limestone and opened in 1912. During its colorful history it has been a retreat for Presidents FDR and Truman and a hideaway for Al Capone.
