When you visit The Inn at Perry Cabin, built just after the war of 1812 in St. Michaels, Maine, you can easily imagine you've taken leave of the twentieth century. Approaching from any part of its 25-acre estate, you'll hear sounds of water: small boats sculling in Fogg Cove, birds on the Miles River, and the hoot of big ships in the Bay. Inside the Inn, all the principal rooms face this bayside scene.
