Camden Harbour Inn, built in 1874, overlooks one of Maine's most historic and picturesque harbors. In the 1800s, the village of Camden was a working seaport bustling with cargo and fishing schooners. At that time, steamships traveling in summer from Boston to Bangor would lay over in Camden, and passengers would disembark for overnight lodging at the Inn. More than a century later, our visitors are still enthralled by views of the harbor, mountains, and open waters of Penobscot Bay visible from the Inn's porch, restaurant, and guest rooms.
