Golden Ranch is a 50,000-acre plantation whose origin dates to the Civil War. As it did then, Golden Ranch today produces sugar cane by the thousands of acres. Also as then, Golden Ranch today is rife with wildlife, from egrets to alligators, trophy white-tailed deer to blue-winged teal, and quail--all of which may be hunted. The Ranch is also home to great fishing and nonn-hunters can to tour the vast marshes by custom-built high-powered mudboats, or by airboats .
