Our 13 lakes are renowned for enormous bream, shellcrackers (giant red-ear sunfish) and trophy-sized bass, and several lakes are seasonally stocked with rainbow trout. We offer weekend fly-fishing schools once a month from February through November, private fly-fishing instruction, and guided bass and fly-fishing trips, all led by a staff of expert instructors and guides. Kingfisher Outfitters, overlooking picturesque Mountain Creek Lake, stocks an excellent selection of rods and reels, flies, clothing, accessories, gift items and more.

Mountain View, a 12-time host to the PGA Tour’s Buick Challenge, is an exacting test of golf that stretches up to 7,057 yards and tests a player’s strategic and shotmaking abilities. Lake View’s manageable length – 6,158 yards from the back tees – is countered by water that comes into play on eight holes, including a rousing six-hole stretch around Mountain Creek Lake. We offer 18-hole, nine-hole, twilight and replay rates, and advance and same-day tee times based on availability.

Callaway Gardens has 155 two-bedroom Southern Pine Cottages nestled in the woodlands and feature kitchenettes, living rooms as well as decks and screened porches. A dedicated indoor/outdoor swimming pool, laundry facility and snack shop/pizzeria (open seasonally) make the cottages a perfect Summer getaway.

Callaway Gardens has 57 two-to-four bedroom Mountain Creek Villas/Vacation Homes nestled in the woodlands and feature kitchenettes, living rooms, washer/dryer as well as decks and screened porches and a dedicated swimming pool. In addition, there are additional vacation home options, including a Mountain Creek Golf Cottages and a Camp Callaway Cabin.
