Nature was munificent in the creation of Wakaya - a unique 2,200 acre gem among the Fiji group of islands - with its lush, emerald forest and abundance of pearly beaches - set in the turquoise coral-ringed sea. As a counterpoint to nature's gifts, Wakaya Island's owners David and Jill Gilmour have lovingly built The Wakaya Club as an extension of their own island home, for a maximum of 16 guests.
