On this site, fourteen hundred years ago, the Welsh Parliament stood. Inspired by this legend, the celebrated architect, Sir Clough Williams-Ellis transformed the largely Jacobean mansion he found into a great Edwardian country house-now an exceptional intimate and luxurious hotel- Llangoed Hall. In your bedroom, you will be greeted by warm Laura Ashley fabrics and every small comfort: fresh fruit, a decanter of sherry or mineral water ready to pour, plenty of books and, apart from the ubiquitous television, a nice Roberts radio.
