The Cavendish Arms at Cartmel has been famous for its hospitality since the 16th Century. Renowned for its warmth of welcome, excellence of food and its traditional cask ales, the Cavendish Arms is an ideal base for touring the English Lake District and Furness Peninsula. Some of the tastefully furnished bedrooms date from the 16th Century. Others are recently completed but all are fully en suite.
