Welcome to Seacoast

Surfing in New Hampshire? It’s possible on the 18-mile coastline of New Hampshire’s Seacoast! Stop by Jenness Beach, Pirate’s Cove Beach or Odiorne Point State Park for some of the area’s best waves. Odiorne is also home to the Seacoast Science Center, offering guests hands-on opportunities to the explore the wildlife and history of the coast. The city of Portsmouth is another great place to discover Seacoast’s rich history. A classic example of an 18th-century seaport, Portsmouth still has a working waterfront. On the city’s South End lies Strawbery Banke, the oldest neighborhood in Portsmouth and now an outdoor history museum. Roam its collection of 40 restored colonial, georgian and federal-style buildings - just don’t forget the tide is still high!
