Welcome to Gabon

The largely undiscovered African country of Gabon is waiting to be uncovered! Even if you don’t spot a lowland gorilla in the country’s thick rainforests, you’re almost certain to see some grazing elephants and buffalo from the tree-top viewing platform of Langoue Bai, a popular forest clearing. The elephants of Loango National Park, however, prefer the beach, and you can see them wandering the park’s white-sand shores along with surfing hippos, crocodiles and chimpanzees. Then, watch for humpback whales while surfing the Atlantic waves of the coastal town Mayumba.
