Lake of the Woods is one of the largest freshwater lakes in the world. Walleye, northern, crappie and bass await in abundance. Head out on a guided excursion and you'll be shown some of the best waters. After your fishing excursion, don't worry about all of the fish you caught. Your guide will clean and package your fish for you while you rest and relax. In fact, it will be delivered to your freezer in your cabin.
Flag Island Resort offers some of the finest duck hunting in the area. The early season, from September to October, can find many local ducks including mallard, teal, woodies, ringnecks and goldeneyes. Mid to late season you can find the northern bills and greenheads. A very limited deer hunt is also offered.
